Hybrids in films

Hybrids have been used in movies for a very long time, this including the use of special effect, after effects on editing programs and also in animation, here are some examples i have found:

Howls Moving castle

In the animation Howl's Moving Castle, howl can transform into a bird like creature, as well as other characters being able to transform themselves

Narnia

Narnia has lots of human hybrids in the film this ranging from a centor, a half human half horse man, as well as the famous character Mr Tummus, a half human half goat, this is just a small fraction of the characters that are in the fim, as there are many mythical creatures that are featured in the film.
Here is a video that i found that had all the information on ow they created all the different hybrids that you see in the movie, something i found extremely interesting.

Harry Potter, Lord Voldemort.

Lord Voldemort is one of the most famous human hybrids, he is half human and part snake like, his image is clearly not human, but can only be seen on closer inspection, and the idea of him looking still so human yet something not looking quite right is something that gives the character a haunting appearance and in effect makes him more scary.

I also found this video in which the directors talk about the character development of making Lord Voldemort, which again i found really interesting.
