Shape shifting

Shape shifting is the transformation (mentally or physically) of one's self into an animal. A 'theriomorph' is a shapeshifter; a being who can assume an animal as well as a human form.
I was thinking of this when looking at Human hybrids, and thinking about tv programes which use this.

This is just a short video of where True blood got its inspiration from to make its shapeshifting characters. I found this clip quite interesting, and it's helpful to know just how much thought has gone into making these characters, along with background research.
